Attention Retreat organisers!! We aim to support you to run profitable retreats.

We work very hard to set keen retreat tariffs that will enable retreat principals to profit from running a retreat here. Though marketing, organising and setting a price for and running a retreat is in itself quite challenging, for many of our retreat principals it has proven to be a very satisfying way to grow their businesses. We will co-operate with retreat leaders in every way we can to ensure that their clients have a memorable, experience and the leader has a profitable one. From many previous retreats held here we are certain our place can be configured to work for you. Call us and discuss your needs or, better still, come and check us out. We will give you a substantial accommodation discount for a checking-out stay.

In preparing your budget you will need to add whatever third party provisioning you want to organise for catering, entertainment etc. We do not provide catering but we have a large number of providers listed under the Local Providers sub-tab who do. Feel free to contact them and ask for a quote.  Accommodation and workshop room charges are significantly cheaper during the week than at weekends.

Retreats cannot be booked on line so please call us to discuss your needs and to obtain a firm quote. 

The above retreat cost estimates include:

  • Cafe Cottage hire and use of its catering kitchen.
  • Access to Cockatoo function room Room incl its servery/kitchennette at arrival and departure times to be negotiated. 
  • Use of verandas, lawns, gazebo, toilets.
  • Use of as many tables and/or chairs as required, self configured as desired.
  • Use of Cockatoo Room servery 
  • Professional event-caterers of your own choice using our facilities but they must have their own liability and workers comp insurance.
  • Audio equipment, OHP, TV, DVD, whiteboard, table tennis tables X 2.
  • Free wireless internet,
  • Rubbish removal.
  • After event rooms and equipment to be left clean where and as found ready for standard floor and facilities clean. If not the extra hourly charge will apply.
  • But tablecloth supply is an optional extra.

Bare-bones hourly package (for casual hourly function room use by locals)

To June 2019 Tariff incl GST calculated as follows:

  • $1.75 per person per hour on weekdays, min $60. $2.75ppph on weekends, min $75 but last minute bookings only.. 
  • Add: Access to Cafe Cottage kitchen, if required (and available)  $8pppd.
  • Optional extras: Tablecloth hire: See Weddings tab
  • Not included: Food, tea, coffee .

Bare Bones package includes:

  • Self organised access to Cockatoo Room and marquee area (only) by arrangement and use of Cockatoo veranda, lawns, gazebo, toilets.
  • Use of as many tables and/or chairs as required, self configured as desired.
  • Use of servery/kitchennette for self-supplied tea, coffee and food for up to 15# (if more use Cafe, but extra cost as above).
  • Professional event-caterers of your own choice at your cost but must have insurance
  • Rubbish removal.
  • After event rooms and equipment are to be left as found ready for standard floor and facilities clean. If not the extra hourly cleaning charge will apply.
